Sometimes in life we are faced with the unimaginable.

I lost my daughter at 16 years old, she was and continues to be a bright shining light in my life, that I refuse to let burn out. Mary's life and death is a fire that will burn inside me for the rest of my days.

"Mary's Light" is my interpretation of her life and death, this highly emotional painting is Mary rising to the heavens from fire. It is an evolving piece, a story that will never be finished.

I chose the swan as Mary's spirit animal.

The swan has the ability to look into the future and accept healing and transformation, that is a constant presence in our lives. The swan will show you how to reach your inner-beauty within you as well as in others. The swan celebrates beauty, culture, art, love, faith and the depth of the soul. Her beauty is majestic. -EH
