Eli, a young man I saw from a distance, never met, and was a good friend of Mary's. I heard his name on a regular basis, Mary's fondness for Eli was clear in the way she spoke of him to me. The way her eyes danced in the stories she shared of Eli. I felt "Eli's Light' in Mary's fondness for him, and I continue to feel "Eli's Light" in the people he touched in his young life.
